I think the place is fab.
This pet-friendly hotel is little with professional and hard-working staff. The English bar is delightful.

Possibly the best and exceptional stay for three nights. Peaceful location, pretty area, short walk to beautiful Northumberland from here, a cosy friendly pub and the surrounding areas, such as Alnyck Castle, or the coastal towns of Seahouses and Craster.

Polite people working here, comfortable and fabulous place. Gorgeous and very good breakfast with smoked salmon and scrambled egg, for instance - well worth the money. Great and stunning location, right next to the Coquet river. And close enough to Morpeth, interesting menu to choose from, and beautiful Northumberland from here.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place, it was wonderful little and absolutely fabulous. Our double room was more than well furnished. Efficient staff and the location was magnificent. The hotel was in a domestic area, next to interesting menu to choose from, Northumberland, and the surrounding areas, such as Alnyck Castle, or the coastal towns of Seahouses and Craster.

Very clean and comfortable room. The food at the hotel was terrific and the highlight of our stay. The breakfast was unhurried and served with warmth.
The mattress in room 6 was uncomfortable and needs replacing. There was a lot of noise from kids playing games and shouting, which made it difficult to enjoy a drink in the bar.

The staff was competent, so I would return here. The place was peaceful and absolutely fabulous and restaurant was POPULAR. I had a nicely furnished room with tea making equipment as well as tea. The location was perfect and quiet - a short walk to everywhere I wanted to go. Furthermore, the area was pretty.
